REM PAVING COMPANY PROFILE

HISTORY

REM Paving has been in existence since 1992 and was then a "One Man operation", headed up by Riaan Swanepoel and a small dedicated working cres. Since these humble beginnings, the company has grown to be a force in the Pretoria and the Surrounding Areas. REM Paving is still headed up by Riaan Swanepoel as the Company's Operations chief. On the operations side of our business, Riaan is more than assisted by Vusi Mthombeni our Senior Operations Manager, and our permanent staff complement of  thirty -four. Johan Oosthuysen joined the Company during 2004 as Sales Manager and together with our sales force of four dedicated sales consultants, covers the greater Pretoria region as well as surrounding ares as far a field as the Eastrand, Westrand, Brits, Bronkhorstspruit and as far north as Warmbaths

ATTAINMENTS

Over the past number of years the company has built very strong relationships with our numerous suppliers, among these are Concor, Infraset, Afric Sand and IDM. Our client base has also grown and our relationships with our clients is ongoing and to say the least, very good.  Of our many clients include M & T Developments, German Construciton, Creative Housing, Spar Group and two recently acquired clients in Melodie Builders, with their new reisdential developments and TDS Contractors with the OR Tambo International Airport contract.

Department of Agriculture was completed 15 months ago and was opened by the minister of Agri. As our operations have increased it has become necessary to seek new and larger premises.  REM Paving has moved  to our new premises in Moreletapark, from where we as a company will be better able to serve our ever increasing customer needs. With the increase in additional client demands, it has become essential to add to our areas of expertise.  In addition to our core business, we also offer the following services : Tar roads and culverts, Building, Seamless guttering, Pool renovation and tree felling.
